Update On the Freeze by Linda Cooley Last month I wrote to you about how I protected my plants from the Freeze. I am happy to report that all of my aloes survived. Some are blooming and many are preparing to bloom. One or two of the ones that looked marginal are now putting out new growth and look great. I think I only "lost" a Kalanchoe, which isn't a surprise since they are usually quite tender. My South African bulbs are starting to bloom and there will be quite a show of flowers soon. Crassula aussensis is getting ready to bloom as well--a first in my garden! |
