An epiphyte is a plant that grows on another plant, like orchids on tree branches. There are many epiphytic, or ‘jungle’ cacti. Among these are Epiphyllum, Zygophyllum (Christmas Cactus), and Rhipsalis. If you have never seen these beauties then you need to come to the meeting -- these amazing cacti will astound you! |
